Last time I asked what DIY on ankara you wanted and the highest vote was on bangles and earrings! So here it is! Make sure you make one for your self!
1) a blue thread cos d material i used is blue
2) uhu glue: i love this glue, it has saved me from a lot of visits to d cobbler/mallam. it it glues almost everything (except my sisters mouth).
3) i used the scarf of my sisters ankara dress. she doeznt use it anywayz so i dont think she'll notice
4) Scissors.
How to make earrings:
1) earrings.
just wrapped the Ankara around it smoothly(turn in and turn out,turn in and turn out) and glue d edges...
How to make bangles:
Materials:
The Ankara Fabric
The Square Bangle
Scissors
Mod Podge Glue
A brush
STEPS:::::::
A I measured the amount of fabric I was gonna use
B So glued on the first layer if fabric….I didn't want to risk it looking flat and transparent
C Then I applied the glue on top on the fabric
D Placed the main fabric on and folded it on the inside…
E Left it to dry overnight and covered the mess with another fabric
F I used my hair dryer to make the drying process faster (low heat)
