A Loyal farm dog was hailed a hero after it was discovered that he protected a two-week-old baby abandoned by the mother under a bridge in Winkongo, near Bolgatanga in the Upper East regional capital of Ghana.

Officials say the dog spent the night watching over the child under the bridge and keeping the baby warm.. The dog had gone missing for hours and the owner sent out a search party into the forest to find him. The dog was found in the morning under a bridge, near the owner's farm, with the newborn deriving warmth by nuzzling against its fur

It was the second celebrity wedding in two weeks, after Nollywood actress Funke Akindele’s three-part combo wedding with hubby Kenny Almaroof; truth be told, there were going to be major comparisons.

The pretty dancer and handsome drummer took it a notch higher, staging a four-part wedding, which involved a Nikkai service, a traditional and church wedding ceremony, and finally, a reception.

The wedding, which was held at Bespoke Centre along Lekki-Epe Expressway, began two hours later than announced with a Nikkai service on the top floor of the building. The hour long service was attended only by the couple’s parents, family members and close friends.

WORLD NEWS:KIDNAPPED GERMAN MAN KILLED IN JTF RAID

A top security source has told Daily Trust that a German, Raufach Edgar, who was kidnapped in Kano on January 26 this year was killed by his captors this morning before he could be rescued by men of the JTF.



The JTF had conducted a raid at Danbare area opposite the new campus of Bayero University Kano this morning after tracing the kidnapped German to the hideout where he was being held but the captors killed him before the JTF could apprehend them.
