MEN ARRESTED FOR HIDING COCAINE INSIDE DUDU OSUN SOAP BEFORE BOARDING A FLIGHT TO UNITED KINGDOM

 Luck ran out of 42 year old man, Olawale Akanla as men of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested him why trying to smuggle 630g of cocaine hidden in six tablets of soap to the United
Kingdom via Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
The suspect Olawale Akanle was about to board an Arik Air flight to London when he was apprehended by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
Another suspect, Nicholas Ezika, who ingested about 62 wraps of methamphetamine weighing 1.130kg, was similarly arrested at the airport. He was en-route to Malaysia via Egypt Airline flight.

AUDITIONS FOR BIG BROTHER SEASON 8 COMMENCES JANUARY 2013

Organizers of the annual Big Brother Africa reality TV show have announced that auditions for the 2013 edition of the show will begin in January 2013.

Managing Director of M-Africa, Biola Alabi, says the  next edition will feature housemates whose activities will provide the audience with happiness, hope, anxiety, friendship, love, arguments and fights. She also added that the next edition will have a new twist to it which will will be revealed when the show begins airing.

The last edition had the trio of Ola, Chris and singer, Goldie as Nigeria’s representatives but was won  by South Africa’s Keagan Peterson.

CHIDIMMA AND DAVIDO EMERGE WINNERS AT KORA AWARDS

Nigerian music acts Davido and Chidinma were winners at the KORA Awards which was held last night Sunday, December 30, 2012.

While DAVIDO was absent won the ‘Best Male Newcomer‘ award, Chidinma walked away with the ‘Best Female West African Act‘.

The awards was held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast,  a day later than earlier announced.

The awards was postponed for a day due to Chris Brown‘s flight issues.

The pop star had been announced to attend and perform at the awards. He eventually arrived on Sunday along with his off-on girlfriend Rihanna

HILARY CLINTON HOSPITALIZED OVER BLOOD CLOT

Hillary Clinton, wife of ex-president Bill Clinton and current US Secretary-of-State was hospitalized on Sunday, December 30, 2012 after doctors discovered a blood clot, a spokesman has announced.

The clot was reportedly found during a follow-up exam after suffering a concussion earlier this month.

It is not specified where the clot was discovered.

Clinton, who is the current US Secretary of State is admitted at the New York Presbyterian Hospital where ‘she will be monitored for the next two days’.

A 33-year-old Zimbabwe National Army soldier was reportedly forced to drink an unknown substance by three women who later took turns to rape  him before dumping him in a bushy area on the outskirts of Gweru in zimbabwe
